Mendelssohn String Octet
Op. 20 Movement 4, "Presto"

This was a heck of a lot of fun to put together!

These musicians are past and present attendees of the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University, and before COVID-19 sent 'em home, they were preparing the entirety of the Octet for live performance. Now reunited virtually, we are incredibly excited to present this great masterwork of the Western Canon. Special thanks to Isabel Tannenbaum for researching the introduction, and running logistics for this thing.
