​The Aix Quartet served as 2018 representatives from Vanderbilt University at the annual music festival held in Aix en Provence, France. John had the honor of serving as the principal violinist, receiving private lessons from Dorian Xhoxhi of the Berlin Philharmonic, and performing in a masterclass for the esteemed Christian-Pierre La Marca and Fergus McWilliam.

While there, the quartet gave three performances whilst immersing themselves in the local culture. The attached recording is from the quartet's final appearance at the festival.
